Wyre Triathlon Club were absolutely delighted to welcome Charlotte Foster and her coach Luke Helmn down to the swim session last night.
Charlotte is currently training for the 2023 Special Olympics World Summer Games taking place from June 17th-23rd in Berlin.
She has been hampered a little in her preparation by lack of consistent access to a 25m pool so she will be joining us on a Thursday evening as she prepares for the games.
She met the squad and then Luke put her through her paces whilst Dom put the rest of us through ours.
It was a delight to train alongside such a great athlete
We have made Charlotte an honorary member of WTC and we will continue to follow her progress closely.
